Kim Lyons has had 23 years experience in Banking and 9 years experience in Mortgage Broking, His previous position was as a founding Director of one of New Zealand's fastest growing broker businesses.

A family man with two grown up children, he has now moved his office home, to avoid the wasted hours in rush hour traffic. He and his wife have recently completed building this new home in Auckland and now want to find more time for  relaxation which will include watching the gardens grow, catching trout at Lake Rotoiti and reducing his golf handicap at Helensville.

With a passion for helping people arrange mortgages, he enjoys meeting clients to help them achieve their dreams, or in these challenging times, creating solutions that their Bank Manager or current Broker may have said were impossible!

Some of his clients first approached him for home and investment property finance some 15 years ago when he worked at the Bank. This is Kim's preferred way of doing business, building long term relationships and seeing people move from being first home buyers, to raising kids, then buying bigger homes, then looking at investments for later in life.

Kim has now enrolled at The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand to complete the intensive level 5 Certificate to become an Authorised Financial Adviser to meet the new Government standards for 2011.
