Steve has been a Mortgage Broker since 2001 and specialises in mentoring clients from a life of debt to being completely debt and mortgage free.

Steve is a Director of First Rate Mortgages Limited on Auckland's North Shore, after a very successful 6 year career at NZ Mortgage Finance, where he was consistently a top performer.

Steve's 10 years at ANZ Bank gave him a wealth of knowledge in banking and finance. He has always had a passion for numbers and figures and combined with his interest in real estate, mortgage broking is an ideal way to utilise his marketing and financial skills.

Married with three young children, Steve understands the challenges of day to day life, managing money and bringing up a family, in today’s uncertain economic times. And that's why he believes that for homeowners to create wealth, one must start with reducing mortgage debt.

Steve has now enrolled at The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand to complete the intensive course to become an Authorised Financial Adviser to meet the new Government standards for 2011.
